Valentine Heart - WIP Wednesdays

I've been working on this quilt for a week or two now.  I think this one is my new favorite of the few I've made.  I love the bright reds and white whites.

I finally got it quilted this last weekend.  I had bought a heart texture pattern.  I haven't used many textures and didn't know exactly what to expect.  To get the texture teeny tiny - this quilt took awhile to quilt up.  But I really am happy with the results.

The white background is filled with a baby heart texture and all the blocks have a little box inside them.

I used a little heart border in the stop border.  I'm really pleased with how it turned out and I'm excited to get this one bound quickly!  Hopefully before the end of the week.

Really cute heart - I'm in the midst of a heart mini quilt right now, but using hexagons. Yours is done and just in time for February!
