This is Jiggs - my grandpa. He's been gone for years, but I think about him often. In December his sister passed away - his living brother and sister came into town - and it was so nice to reconnect with his family. His brother and he were close and have such similar personalities. I was a little sad to think of how with it his siblings are still - and how Jiggs left us way too soon.
He was a bundle of life. He was fun and lived his life to the fullest. I wish so much he could have met Mike, and how much my kids would have loved him.
There is a hole in my heart that belongs to Jiggs and I miss him. Today more than others as its his birthday.
Happy Birthday Jiggs - sure do miss you....
