Hi everyone! Thanks for stopping in. If you're new here from Sew Mama Sew, Welcome!
I saw giveaways all over blogland and Instagram and wanted to join in on the fun. For those of you that are new - let me introduce myself.
A am a mom to 2 crazy little boys ages 6 and 4. They are my whole world. In an effort to find a way to spend more time with them and quit my day job - I jumped head first into a Long Arm Quilting business last year. Latimer Lane Quilting. I would say this last year has been crazy! Busy, hard, so rewarding, and so inspirational. The problem with being a long arm quilter - I want to make all the quilts that come through my door!
I have been offering a special of $.01 per inch this last year. Before I owned a machine, it was so hard to find a good quilter at decent prices. I love this sewing hobby we all enjoy. But after spending $100+ on fabric for the top - I didn't want to go and do it again for the quilting. My special is coming to an end with the end of the year - but I will always keep a nice selection of patterns at $.01 an inch - and my overall pricing will still stay low. My highest prices will be what most start their edge to edge pricing at!
If you're interested - please contact me - if I have you on my schedule before the end of the year - I will still honor the special pricing - even if we don't get to your quilt until January. Check out all my patterns and information here.
I am also starting to sell fabric on a small scale over at my Etsy store Gracie Lane Quilts. I sell finished products as well as kits and precuts. I am adding more over the next few months so please check back.
NOW to the giveaway. What you all really want me to get to! I am offering 2 Giveaways.
First up -
This cute little table runner made out of High Streets by Lily Ashbury for Moda. I love this line - and the grey fabric was my favorite piece hands down. I love how the orange border makes it pop! The runner measures 10 x 28 and perfect for just about any area. Quilted with a simple crosshatch.
Second up -
A layer cake of Aspen Frost by Basic Grey for Moda. I LOVE this line - and have a few projects in the works using these layer cakes. This would make a great gift for someone - or give you a head start on next years project (unless you're super fast and can finish something in a week!)
To win - leave me a comment telling me what your favorite precut of fabric is. Layer Cakes? Jelly Rolls? Charms?
Will ship to anyone within North America. Winner will be announced by December 15th.
Thanks Sew Mama Sew for hosting this day - so fun!

I've never used precut fabric before.
I love fat quarters...just that little bit extra just in case.
I love mini charm packs since I do not like cutting 2 1/2 inch squares.
I like them all but layer cake is on top of my list, love variety
I like layer cakes and FQs, but have made some fun things with jelly rolls...ok I like them all!!!
Fat quarters- brand new to sewing, and am using these a lot for little projects! Thanks for the giveaway!
I love jelly rolls-both the pastry type and the fabric type:)
Haven't used different pre-cuts, so don't have a favorite. Like the idea that they are pre cut.

Have only used a Layer Cake once before..was grrrreat!!! Love Fat quarters & charms tho too. :)
Merry Christmas!!
Charm packs are great! Thanks for the chance!
I love charm packs! Thanks for the chance to win.
Layer cakes! Thanks for offering this giveaway.
I am a real sucker for charm packs and jelly rolls! I love to see all of the fabrics together!

I really like charm packs. They are rather inexpensive and they usually give you a sample of every fabric in the line.
I usually just buy fat quarters because I haven't really gotten into quilting, but I love to look at the layer cakes at fabric stores! So pretty! :)
Fat quarters! Love making small projects with them.
Thanks!
I used to love charm packs(and still do) but layer cakes are my newest love. You can do so much with them! Thanks for the great giveaway!
i love charm packs...usually use only fat quarters for sewing
I use charms the most but if I can get a good buy on a layer cake then I will get it because you can get 4 charm packs out of it!
I would say Jelly Rolls so convenient!
I tend to purchase charm packs and fat quarter bundles. Thanks so much for sharing!
I love layer cakes and fat quarters. Fq's are nice for mid size projects that need a bit of fabric, while layer cakes are nice to get the whole collection in one bundle.
Layer Cakes for sure. I'm glad to know of a reasonable priced quilter!
I rarely buy precuts since I like to buy big pieces. But when I do I love charm packs and layer cakes. Thanks
I'm new to sewing but I have used charms and I love that you get so many colors and designs in one pack that's ready to use!
I love the Fat Quarter Bundles - that way you are sure to have enough
It is a toss up between jelly rolls and charm squares :)
I really love fat quarters because I can get so much out of them.
My favorite is layer cakes. Thanks.
I like charm packs.
I hove them all but charms are really cute. linhs4real@aol.com
Jelly rolls are what I've used the most, but I love fat quarters, too. P.S. Love the runner!!
I like fat quarters the best and then layer cakes. I would love to win the Aspen Frost.

Fat quarters, I can find lots of uses for them.
I love charm packs! I even cut up small scraps into charm squares.
I love charm packs and have made table runners and placemats... perfect and quick!! Thanks for the chance, great giveaway!!
I've worked with all of them and can't say that one is better than the other, BUT i prefer the charm pack.
chirpy78@gmail.com
FQ's are my fave. Love the colors in your runner!
I love charm packs- I still make only small things! and they are perfect! I LOVE this fabric! thanks for the chance!
I have quite a collection of fat quarters, but I also like charm packs.
I like FQs best as I like to prewash my fabric and they are large enough to do so without ruining them.

Oh this is a hard one! Layer cakes, cause you can turn them into charm packs, but I also love the jelly rolls. If money were not an object I would buy a jelly roll, a layer cake and 2 charm packs of every line I like (which is most every line!)
I love charm packs.
I like layer cakes as they are a good balance between price and fabric size. You can get 4 charm packs out of them, or 2 charm packs and some strips, or ... well, you're familiar with this! If I really, really like a line, though, I will spring for a FQ bundle, but I do this rarely.
jelly rolls! So many things you can do with them!
Layer cakes are nice because you can cut them into charms, mini-charms, or strips--basically all of the other precut shapes. I just find that they allow a bit more flexibility in design. Thanks for the chance to win.
I love layer cakes, but mini charm packs are the perfect size for a zippy pouch. Thanks for the chance to win!
Absolutely love precuts; my all-time favorite is charm packs, but I really use them all. Thanks for sharing your projects; and sponsoring the wonderful giveaway!
I'm a layer cake and jelly roll girl. Layer cakes can be used in so many ways - there is enough fabric and can easily be cut down to charms, etc.
Jelly rolls are fab for Little peicing or sashing.
Can't live without either one!
I really like jelly rolls and layer cakes- both are such useful cuts and you can create some lovely things and use a whole line of fabrics which I normally don't do.
Thanks for participating in the blog hop and for sharing your lovely work. I hope that your long arm business continues to grow. Regards from Alberta Canada,
Anna

Layer cakes :)
I love collecting mini charm packs of Bonnie & Camille lines! I can't wait to have a few more to make a sweet quilt out of them all!
I love to use all precuts as they are great time-savers. Thanks for a chance to win.
Oh, that is a tough one. I think I would have to go with FQ bundles, because you get the more fabric! Thanks. cobbv19(at)gmail(dot)com
I love layer cakes and jelly rolls....hmmm both sound delicious!
Thanks!
kush(at)nycap(dot)rr(dot)com
FQs all day :)
I like fat quarters or yardage, Love the table runner.
Since I love applique, I love the different sizes. Probably the only fabric I don't buy is the jelly rolls.
I like charm packs.
Love layer cakes. So many uses. Thank you for the wonderful give-a-way!
I have only tried 1 jelly roll and would like to try again as there are so many great patterns out there. I also buy FQ's if I just need a small amount of fabric.

I've never really used any precuts (unless FQ's count), but would sure love to try them out!
I love charm packs
:)
Thank you for the giveaway.
I haven't done much with precuts but am starting to delve into it. I like layer cakes so far though. or charm squares. Thanks!
I love fat quarters but charms are my second favorite.
you've linked up to the "willing to ship internationally" category
I like charms!
I just used a layer cake for the first time. Typically I get FQs. Thanks!
I have to say that fat quarters are my preferred cut. Lots of variety and not too expensive! I think jelly rolls & the like are pricey! I would rather cut my own 2.5" strips! annesimonot@sasktel.net
I love Fat Quarters but a bundle is often too pricy - I wish they would sell them by color way :) hint hint.... SO because of that I buy charm packs. You can see many fabrics and then decide which you need larger sections of. :) I also LOVE Jelly Rolls for the ease of use. I'm doing a many trips quilt now and boy, super easy peasy!! Thank you for the chance to win, have an awesome day!
I just LOVE fabric any shape or size... Fat quarters are great because there is more to play with however I wish they were sold in smaller bundles.
I love charm squares so that you can see a whole line and then choose what you would like to buy in larger qty.
You are awesome! Have a great day!

It's a split for me between charm packs and layer cakes. I love them both so much!
I love charm packs!
Charm packs I think. But there is something lovely about the name 'jelly rolls', isn't there?!
I love charms! Thanks for the chance :)

I have only used charm packs and I found them very useful. Thanks for the giveaway. Ana
Layer cakes as they are the best value (ie they are cheaper than 4 charm packs!), but in general I buy FQ's.
I like charms because you can do quick and simple patchwork with them and get a nice variety going.
Layer cakes have become my go-to precut for quilts. Many of the quilt patterns I have been most interested in lately have called for 10-inch squares, or for 5-inch squares that can be quickly and easily cut from layer cakes.
I've never bought pre-cuts other than fat quarters, but I really want to try some hexies!
I think FQ's are my fav and if you looked at my stash you would agree. I think it is a great size and get a bundle to try out a line and she which is your favorite. Thanks
Layer cakes are my favorite!
I love Jelly Rolls... I have a sweet tooth so the jelly roll does the trick...
I live using jelly rolls to make wedge toppers . Makes it so much easier
charm packs!
I love jelly rolls but actually everything pre cut is awesome!! Thank you for a great giveaway!

I like layer cakes, they seem the most versatile to me.
Fat quarters, but I think I would really like layer cakes!
I love charms and Fat Quarters.
I like Layer Cakes. You can make 2 cuts and have charm packs.
My favorite precuts are the charms. I can find the most patterns for these.
I like layer cakes the most!
I like charm packs and jelly rolls. Thanks for the chance to win.
Charm packs.

I like fat quarters because of the versatility. But when I need a gift in a hurry, I find a pattern that uses all charms. I've never used a layer cake and would like to play with one! Especially Aspen Frost - sooo beautiful. Thanks for this awesome giveaway, and Merry Christmas!
Fat quarters! (or layer cakes)
mandiprout80 @ gmail. com
I like layer cakes, but I love fat quarter bundles the best.
I like layer cakes - more fabric to play with.
I like layer cakes because they are so versatile.
So far I have only used charms. I have a layer cake and a jelly roll in my stash but haven't gotten to them yet...
I like fat quarters. Thanks for chance to win.
I like FQ bundles best and charm packs are great too. Thanks for the giveaway.
I like to use charm packs.
FQs and Layer cakes.
Layer cakes as I get more fabric, but I also really like charms as an economical way to try out a whole line and they make great sized pockets and quick patchwork.
I love fat quarters!
I buy FQ all the time, I won a jelly roll once and got a charm pack at a guild event, but have never bought them myself.
I like Layer Cakes. Very versatile :)
Susanne
HI there,
Thanks for the chance to win. I too, am a longarmer and I am trying to keep costs low too. It is hard but my customers like it. I like using jelly rolls. Already pre cut so great to just get sewing.
Have a Merry Christmas
Ruth at ruthq@rogers.com
mine is fat quarters. I love the endless possibilities.
The bigger the better I'd say, I prefer to buy meters. And just sit on them, hehe.
I'd love a charm pack for once though and just make a very, very simple square quilt. Would love the time-saver that'd be! :)
Thanks for the giveaway!
I buy 5 inch charm packs. BTW, the Aspen Frost was one of my favourite paper lines ever. Too bad I couldn't get my hands on any :(
I like fat quarters best, they can be cut down to just about anything I may need. Thanks.
I don't usually buy precuts, but I was given a jelly roll of Riley Blake chevrons that sewed up into a quilt nice and quickly.
I quite like layer cakes because they are big enough pieces to allow a large-scale focus print to really show through, if that is what you want.
I love all precuts when I am in a hurry. I have used more jelly rolls than anything else but layer cakes and charm squares come in second and third.
I like them all-- love the accuracy!
I love fat quarters, and jelly rolls. After getting my first layer cake, I realized that size is SO versatile that it is my new favorite! Happy holidays!
I like jelly rolls. Thanks for the chance!

I love charm packs but am branching out to layer cakes.
I like charm packs. Fun way to get all the prints in a collection. Thanks for the chance to win!
Layer cakes and jelly rolls. :o)
Thanks for the lovely giveaway!
Jelly rolls are my favourite! So many possibilities . . .
I prefer fat quarters for their versatility. But they're really expensive for a complete collection. My more affordable choice would be Layer Cakes. You can get charm squares out of them as well as some strips. So they're still flexible. Thanks for this giveaway opportunity. I really like Aspen Frost.
Because of price, I use mostly Charm packs, but love layer cakes. Aspen Frost is gorgeous.
Great choice for the giveaway. Have a great Christmas.
Right now, charm packs are my favorite - they are perfect for making puff quilts!
Abby I think my favorite is a Jelly Roll. I just LOVE your table runner -- so simple - so elegant. Thanks for sharing and thanks for the awesome giveaway! Karen

I have three jelly rolls to use - but am really trying to find just the right pattern to use!
Have never used a layer cake - but would love to!
So I guess I'd have to say Charm Pack as my favourite so far!
