Giveaway Day - Runner and Layer Cake

Hi everyone!  Thanks for stopping in.  If you're new here from Sew Mama Sew, Welcome!

I saw giveaways all over blogland and Instagram and wanted to join in on the fun.  For those of you that are new - let me introduce myself.

A am a mom to 2 crazy little boys ages 6 and 4.  They are my whole world.  In an effort to find a way to spend more time with them and quit my day job - I jumped head first into a Long Arm Quilting business last year.  Latimer Lane Quilting.  I would say this last year has been crazy!  Busy, hard, so rewarding, and so inspirational. The problem with being a long arm quilter - I want to make all the quilts that come through my door!

I have been offering a special of $.01 per inch this last year.  Before I owned a machine, it was so hard to find a good quilter at decent prices.  I love this sewing hobby we all enjoy.  But after spending $100+ on fabric for the top - I didn't want to go and do it again for the quilting.  My special is coming to an end with the end of the year - but I will always keep a nice selection of patterns at $.01 an inch - and my overall pricing will still stay low.  My highest prices will be what most start their edge to edge pricing at!

If you're interested - please contact me - if I have you on my schedule before the end of the year - I will still honor the special pricing - even if we don't get to your quilt until January.  Check out all my patterns and information here.

I am also starting to sell fabric on a small scale over at my Etsy store Gracie Lane Quilts.  I sell finished products as well as kits and precuts.  I am adding more over the next few months so please check back.

NOW to the giveaway.  What you all really want me to get to!  I am offering 2 Giveaways.

First up -

This cute little table runner made out of High Streets by Lily Ashbury for Moda.  I love this line - and the grey fabric was my favorite piece hands down.  I love how the orange border makes it pop!  The runner measures 10 x 28 and perfect for just about any area.  Quilted with a simple crosshatch.

Second up -

A layer cake of Aspen Frost by Basic Grey for Moda.  I LOVE this line - and have a few projects in the works using these layer cakes.  This would make a great gift for someone - or give you a head start on next years project (unless you're super fast and can finish something in a week!)

To win - leave me a comment telling me what your favorite precut of fabric is.  Layer Cakes? Jelly Rolls?  Charms?

Will ship to anyone within North America.  Winner will be announced by December 15th.

Thanks Sew Mama Sew for hosting this day - so fun!

    ReplyDelete
  94. I'm a self-taught quilter, and still kind of in the beginner level of things, so I love fat quarters.
